Update: What's the Impact? Some lag may occur for some services after restart. Possible user impact may include intermittent lag of up to 15 minutes. Restarts will be actioned in small service batches each time, and executed environment-by-environment. For sensitive services, restarts will be done one service at a time per environment.

In support of our commitment towards improving our services and infrastructure, we will be performing the following maintenance on the BigPanda platform.

What's Happening?
During the upcoming maintenance window, BigPanda will perform routine maintenance on Datadog APM across it's services.
This effort includes auditing and updating APM configurations to ensure it is enabled only where required and properly configured where in use.
Although this is a minor configuration update, it requires restarting the affected services. For that reason, we are executing the work during the scheduled maintenance window to minimize any potential impact.
The changes have already been tested across all environments and are not expected to impact service performance or customers; however, anticipated user impact may include a possible intermittent lag of up to 15 minutes.
Rollout Plan:
Changes will be deployed in small service batches.
Execution will proceed one environment at a time.
For sensitive or critical services, updates will be performed one service at a time per environment to further reduce risk.
Should any unforeseen issues arise, rollback procedures are defined per resource type. If a change affects stability, the specific resource will be immediately reverted to its original configuration to restore health, followed by a deeper review before proceeding.
