In support of our commitment towards improving our services and infrastructure, we will be performing the following maintenance to the BigPanda platform.

What's Happening?

As part of the migration away from in-memory message buffers within our Incident Sharing service, we will be enabling the ability to route some escalation message types to MongoDB. This functionality will not be enabled for customers at this time, but this change is a prerequisite for future changes.

What's the Impact?

Users may see 2-3 instances of up to 5 minutes for each occurrence where that manual and auto shares fail briefly as the upgrades are deployed and services are restarted. Users can manually retry any failed shares, and BigPanda will send new updates through the established channels for Incidents that have already been shared.

What isn't Impacted?

BigPanda will continue to ingest and process events from your monitoring systems, and all other areas of the BigPanda platform will remain fully operational.

Is User Action Required?

No user action is required.

We will be closely monitoring the maintenance work, and BigPanda's status page will be updated throughout the maintenance period with any changes to service operations.
